Combined Inequalities? Please help! 1. Solve the open sentence. –2 ≤ n + 4 ≤ 7 A. n ≥ 6 and n ≤ –4 B. n ≤ 2 and n ≤ 7 C. n ≤ –6 and n ≤ 4 D. n ≥ –6 and n ≤ 3

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

–2 ≤ n + 4 ≤ 7 subtract 4 from each part -6≤ n ≤ 3

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

the most accurate would be D, but even D is still wrong because it means 2 separate equation, where as rally it is only one.

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):

I would go with D.
