Solving Equations By Factoring Question: (7x-28)(28x-7)=0 If you can, may you explain how you got the answer? If not then its ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are you trying to find the zeros which are the answers or trying to foil it into a quadratic?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

Just set each one of those to equal zero. 7x - 28 = 0 7x = 28 x = 4 28x - 7 = 0 you do this one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

28x=7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep then divide 28 on both sides and reduce the fraction to find x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oooh, thanks jidfatta and shamil98 :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem you understand it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya, I just didn't know the dividing part... haha but thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :)
