weight is the total weight of the child. 6.14 is probably the expected weight at birth and .208 is the weight gained per month @tkhunny

There are some notable things about this model. A brand new baby, zero (0) months old, should weigh around 6.14 + 0.208(0) = 6.14 kg!!!! Holy Baby Batman? That is one large child. So, we know the model isn't perfect. That doesn't mean it isn't useful.
