Magnetism?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which statement correctly describes the Earth's magnetic field? The geomagnetic south is consistent with a magnetic south. The geomagnetic north is similar to the south pole of a magnet. The Earth's magnetic poles are the same magnetic charge at the poles. The Earth does not have a consistent pattern of magnetism

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well.. depends on how u DEFINED CONSISTENCY.. if u are strict about being consistent as in NEVER CHANGING with time.. then u know for sure d is the answer right? :P but if u think of almost consistent.. then think which one would be the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmm...

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

@Mashy Is option B the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it would be A. but now I'm not so sure :l

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mayankdevnani No, it's not.

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

Why?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Because they're opposites.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And . . . my lesson says it isn't :l

OpenStudy (mayankdevnani):

@Mashy what about you?
