Good question. There are infinitely many real numbers. 1/4 = 0.25. Let's say someone claims 0.26 comes after that. Then, you can argue by asking, "What about 0.255?". Or if they say, it's 0.251. Then there is always say, 0.2502 to consider. And the argument goes on the same way, until everyone is tired of the many decimal places... So, there is no exact answer to your question. unless you're counting in sequence
