Is this course useful for those wanting to learn Mandarin for business purposes? I speak Mandarin at home and am fluent on a low level, but interested in language exchange practice.

I don't know. I'm Chinese, living in Singapore. When you want to learn a new language, learn it directly. Speak as lot as you can. Learn by yourself is OK. You can learn to read, write, but can't speak fluently. Language is used to speak, then to read and write. right?
