OCA Spanish 2 help please Pablo: bueno esta_____ Julio le preguntoal recepcionista Pablo: no necesitas cambiar un cheque el hotel acepta tarjetas de credito yo _________ a usar mi tarjeta de credito

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

is this still unit 3 lesson 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes im stuck could you help please

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

sure give me a sec

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

first, what do you think are supposed to go in the blanks?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well i have listened to the video several times and every time they say the words i need they say it so fast i cant understand like i have 5 out of 8 done but i just couldnt get the last three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, the video was about a hotel so could you figure it out using the vocab?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I tried but just didnt understand its been four years since i did spanish 1 so im a little rusty

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

for the first one, the two words before the blank are bueno, esta ____ knowing that bueno means good, then esta is saying i am. so putting that together, what word would make sense out of these: divertido bien mal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the first one Pablo used esta so he talking about a state of being and it woul be followed with something like; bien or mal. In the second one he is talking about an action so you would need to conjugate ir into the yo form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@esshotwired would it be divertido

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

no it would not, divertido is an adj that means fun

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

for the second one, he is saying he is going to use something. so what verb, out of these, means go: poner ir ser

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would the first one be mal and the second one im still thinking @esshotwired

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

for the first one, he already said he was good, so he wouldnt say he was fun or sad. he would say esta bien to back up the fact that he already said he is good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the second one ir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok i see now thanks

OpenStudy (esshotwired):

yup!
