OpenStudy (anonymous):

d is your choice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no... C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, both C and D, can you show me how you get that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i put it into a graphing calculator and matched it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we have a formula to find out the period of a sin function, for example if you have sin x, then, the period of it is \(\dfrac{2\pi}{1}=2\pi\), if you have sin(2x), the period is \(\dfrac{2\pi}{2}=\pi\). One more, If you have sin(10x), the period is \(\dfrac{2\pi}{10}= \dfrac{\pi}{5}\) from then, your period is 580(from your graph) so, the number in the front of x in sin function (let say it is N) is \(\dfrac{2\pi}{N}=580\rightarrow N= \dfrac{2\pi}{580}=\dfrac{\pi}{290}\) therefore, your function should be \(\large sin \dfrac{\pi}{290}x\)

i got f(x)=0 so a graph didn't come up.... are you sure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to this kind of question, your duty is find out the number in the front of x of sin function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

let tag other, they may give you more explanation, @phi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'm open.

I think because of the bad net, and you closed your post, that's why others cannot know you tag them
