OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bibby could you help pleeease? :)

OpenStudy (bibby):

ahhhh, we meet again. My first thought is to realize the bottom thing is a straight line. As such Both angles add up to 180, right?

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bibby yeah that's what I was thinking?

OpenStudy (bibby):

amoodarya's image has what I was getting at

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

so sorry for my interference

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amoodarya its fine! the more help the better lol

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

two head is better than one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but so I should solve 180-(8x+15)?

OpenStudy (bibby):

that's just the angle measurement. You can then add up all the angles in the triangle to find x and set it to 180 (sum of angles in a triangle))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I added up the angles in the triangle and got 22.14?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bibby

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

OpenStudy (bibby):

You can use the equation amoo set up. I got x=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@amoodarya @bibby I see it now, thanks you guys

OpenStudy (bibby):

Don't just take my answer though. Work through the equation and understand how we arrived at said answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@bibby I know I did, thank you again :)
