What are the vertex, the axis of symmetry, the maximum or minimum value, the domain and the range of each function? f (x) = 2(x-4)2 + 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find the vertex use -b/2a The equation distributed would be 2x^2-16x+35 a: 2 b:-16 c:35 Now find the x for the vertex. -b/2a which is 16/2(2) and that is 4 Now fill 4 into the original equations and you get and you get 3. So, the vertex is (4,3) Axis of symmetry is x=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Minimum is (4,3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Domain and Ranger are all real numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what about the axis of symmetry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I put it in the first answer. it's x=4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you
