hi welcome to openstudy! see if a particular base is miscopied then only that particular amino acid is affected. bu if a particular base is deleted then the further chain of codons is affected...for eg original rna AUGUUUACAAGCGGU which codes for met-phe-thr-ser-gly change in 1 baseAUGU\(\color{red}C\)UACAAGCGGU WHICH CODES FOR met-\(\color{red}s\)\(\color{red}e\)\(\color{red}r\)-thr-ser-gly deletion of 1 baseAUGUUACAAGCGGU codes for met-leu-gln-ala
