Which of the following is the point and slope of the equation y + 7 = ½(x + 1)? (-1, -7), - ½ (-7, -1), ½ (-1, -7), ½ (1, 7), ½

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

in the point-slope form \[y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\] y1 and x1 are the coordinates to your point and m is your slope

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

but of course coordinates always come (x,y) form

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still kinda confused @nincompoop

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

what are you confused about? when you are given a point, it is always (x,y) form (2,5) x = 2 y = 5
