Need help simplifying this algebraic expression

7x(x-3)(x+2)

and please explain the steps used :).

I did try to solve it first, when i distributed the 7 i got \[(7x^2 -21x)(7x^2+14x)\]

And then when i tried to solve it i got like \[7x^4 + 98x^3 -147x^3 -294\]

why are u distributing??? this is simply multiplication..

Am i not supposed to distribut the 7x outside to the ones inside the parenthesis?
