PLEASE HELP FOR A MEDAL The three major monotheistic religions are sometimes described as branches of the same family tree. If this is true, how would you describe the trunk of the tree?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, because three religions branch off the same tree, they all share the same aspect. They all derived from one thing. For example, if 3 of the same religions all believe in the same God, that God would be the trunk of the tree, the branches would be how they believe in that God but the differences in either how they celebrate, or whatever they might do to show appreciation to the God.

Thanks you

No problem :) Let me know if you need more help. Think of it like this as well. Your grandparents are the trunk of the tree, lets say they had 3 kids they all branched out in different ways and did different things in their lives. That's how they want you to see it :)
