i give medals if you can help me please show work is (-4,10) a solution to the equation 10-5x=y

OpenStudy (ryguy):

to simplify this it would look like y=-5x+10 so that means its starting at point (0,10) and goes oer one and down five so that would mean at the point -4 it would be at 30 not ten. so no (-4, 10) is not a point on equation 10-5x=y

OpenStudy (ryguy):

did that help?
