OpenStudy (xmoses1):

what am supposed to do?

OpenStudy (xmoses1):

Find the equation of the line below. Arrange your answer in the form y = mx + b, where b is the constant.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you do this problem with your eyeballs, no computation necessary the equation for a line will look like \(y=mx+b\) where \(m\) is the slope and \(b\) is the \(y\) intercept (where the line crosses the \(y\) axis)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since this line crosses the \(y\) axis at \((0,0)\) you know \(b=0\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and as ever increase of one unit in the \(x\) axis gives an increase of one in the \(y\) axis, over one, up one, slope is \(1\)
