The angle formed by two secants meeting outside a circle is equal to 1/2 the difference of the intercepted arcs. So angle BED = 1/2(arc AC - arc BD) No substitute and solve.

Sorry...I meant 25 = 1/2(80 - x)

solve for x...you can multiply both sides by 1/2, you get 50 = 80 - x
