jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

isolate the radical value first so (cube root)(2x+1) = 3 then to get rid of the cube root you cube both sides so 2x + 1 = 3^3 now do you know how to solve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i solve 2x+1=3^3

@jigglypuff314

jigglypuff314 (jigglypuff314):

yeah, sorry, my computer died, so yes you would solve for x from 2x+1=3^3
