Someone please help me id appreciate it (Define a variable and write an inequality to model each situation. The restaurant can seat at most 172 people

OpenStudy (austinl):

Let x be the number of people that a restaurant can seat. It can seat AT MOST 172 people Do you have any idea how you could set up an inequality for that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No i have no idea im sorry im not very good in this subject can u kinda explain me thru this?

OpenStudy (austinl):

Lets say that a stadium can seat at most 4,000 people. Let x be the number of people the stadium can seat. \(x\le4,000\) Make sense? It can seat less than 4,000 as well as 4,000 exactly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be \[x \le172\]

OpenStudy (austinl):

It would indeed!

Thank you(:
