SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!! For each table, determine whether the relationship is a linear function. Then represent the relationship using words, an equation, and a graph.

To figure out if each table represents a linear function, see if the y value goes up or down by the same amount for an increase of 1 in the x values. All of those tables have x values of 0 1 2 and 3...so just see if the y goes up or down by the same amount for the whole table.

can ushow me an example so i dont get confused haha sorry

can u*

For example, that first table is linear because you just plus 3 to get each successive y value to get the all of the y's: 5 + 3 = 8......+ 3 = 11 ......+ 3 = 14

okaay thank you

Use the slope intercept form to get the equation. The y intercept is where x=0..Y-intercept is 5 Slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) = (11 - 8) / 1 - 0 = 3 y = mx + b y = 3x + 5 .... that's the equation
