A bottle holds 48tsp of vanilla. function rule the amount A of vanilla remaining in the bottle decreases by 2 tsp per batch b of cookies. write a function rule to represent this situation. How much vanilla remains after 12 batches of cookies?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have 48 tsps, each batch consumes 2 tsp. You make 12 batches. How many tsp of vanilla did you consume? How much do you have left?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

24 tsp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but what about the equation part I don't undertand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the question for the equation part? Your initial post seems to be truncated a bit.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

write a function rule I cant figure that out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it would be division

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Intial # of Tsp - (Tsp per batch * # of Batches) So 42 - ( 2 * x ) Where x = number of batches made.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

go what @maf said

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks though I did figure it out but thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good i would of helped you alot if i was good at that
