Well think logically,

this doesn't make sense, it is just 12, it is not 12cos45, or anything like that. It is equal to the base (which is the other leg of the triangle)

@Isaiah.Feynman, I am really confused, how does it make sense to say any of the choices.
Wouldn't AB be just 12?
