I Need Help Please!!! tell whether each sequence is arithmetic. Justify your answer. If the sequence is arithmetic, write a function rule to represent it. 1.-5,5, -5,5,... 2.46,31,16,2,... 3.0.2,-0.6,-1.4,-2.2,...

OpenStudy (ranga):

Find the difference between successive terms and see if the difference is the same. If it is then it is an arithmetic sequence.

well can u help me with the first one..? please

OpenStudy (ranga):

1. -5, 5, -5, 5,... 1st term: -5 2nd term: 5 Difference between 2nd term and 1st term is: 5 - (-5) = 10 3rd term: -5 Difference between 3rd term and 2nd term is: -5 - (5) = -10 The differences are not the same and therefore this is not an arithmetic sequence.

Okaay Thank you so much ill give u a medal for helping me(:
