Oxymorons are sort of like an ironic/extreme contradiction- for example, the phrase "jumbo shrimp" (jumbo=big, shrimp=tiny.) A pun typically means a play on words for humourous effect- for example, the joke "How much does a pirate pay for corn? A buccaneer!" (cheesy, I know.) Verbal irony is also sort of a contradiction- usually phrases or figures of speech that contradict eachother. Such as the phrase "Clear as mud." I hope this helps!! I'm not sure how else to explain it.
yeah u did good and thank you
