how do you find the cotangent of 7pi/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with or without a calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

using the unit circle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cotangent is actually 1/tan so all you do is find the tan of 7pi/6 (sin/cos) which is sqrt3/3 and since the cotanget is 1/tan all u do is flip it so you get 3/sqrt3 but since u cant have a square root on the bottom u mult both to and bottom by sqrt3 so u get 3sqrt3/3...finally u can cancel the 3s giving u a final answer of just sqrt3

thank you!
