I dont know tht answer but im thinking it A: One knew his father's name, and one did not.
Oops. Booker T. Washington and Frederick both did not know who their fathers were just that their fathers were white. They were both born into slavery Frederick ran away to get out of slavery, Booker did not Frederick never knew when he was born, so he made a date up, Booker knew.
