What number comes next? 1000 500 250 125 62.5 125/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you see the pattern?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is like 1st grade math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Konongr Please be polite.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My bad just people come here and give us these horribly easy questions that can be solved in 2 seconds if they actually tried solving it by themselves @Easyaspi314

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is the answer 500/32?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Konongr I can't even respond to what you just said. Let's not judge anyone's knowledge or understanding of mathematics.

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Ya that was rude >:O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All you have to do is take 125/4 and divide it by 2 @crystalsevak

zepdrix (zepdrix):

I'm not sure how you came up with that number crystal :) But yes it seems to be correct. It's not in simplest form, but you got it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my daughter is ten and it calls for fraction without simplest form

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Without simplest form? That seems fine then! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

zepdrix (zepdrix):

The number is being cut in half each time. So the next number is 125/8 Which is equivalent to 500/32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yay i got it right :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the next would be 2000/256 or 125/16

zepdrix (zepdrix):

yes, good good good :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you
