Write an inequality for the given statement: The sum of –18 and a number is more than 22.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

more than 22 means > 22 make sense so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so sum means the addition of two numbers they give you one already (-18) and then they say a number, meaning a variable sooooo that gives you -18 + x > 22 following so far?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you just need the inequality right? not the solve for x part?
