OpenStudy (ryguy):

Which allows you to freely copy anything? A. Copyright B. Fair use C. Freedom of Information D. Public domain

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

copyright:the exclusive legal right, given to an originator or an assignee to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material, and to authorize others to do the same. Fair use: (in US copyright law) the doctrine that brief excerpts of copyright material may, under certain circumstances, be quoted verbatim for purposes such as criticism, news reporting, teaching, and research, without the need for permission from or payment to the copyright holder. Freedom of Information: Freedom of information is an extension of freedom of speech, a fundamental human right recognized in international law, which is today understood more generally as freedom of expression in any medium, be it orally, in writing, print, through the Internet or through art forms. Public domain: the state of belonging or being available to the public as a whole, and therefore not subject to copyright. ~ definitions from google

OpenStudy (beccaboo333):

no prob

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fair use means that you are allowed to copy a short amount of something. (for example 1-two sentences or a small pic.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh no Im not saying yours is wrong. It isn't. I'm just saying that fair used, "dumbed down" if you will just simply means you CAN copy, but to an extent.
