a question is usually along the lines of:

How do you get the derivative of x4 - 7x2 + 6x?

then we would try to see how much you know ... maybe you are just not confident in the knowledge you have?  maybe you are just being lazy and want others to do the work for you? maybe a few different scenarios.  In either case, we tend to promote learning over just answer giving and give you the chance to participate in the solution process :)
