After Odysseus and his remaining crew stayed with Circe, Circe told odysseus that he should get the prophecies of what's happening in his home from the prophet Terias, who is already dead. Ghosts love blood, so Circe directed Odysseus to kill sheep and fill a pit with blood and keep all the other ghosts back from the pit until Terias comes forward, and to let Terias drink the blood. Then Terias tells him what's happening in his house. It's a read to find out question dude!
