Which characteristic does a translation not preserve?

Choices?

A. distance from the origin B. size of the figure C. rotational symmetry D. shape

Well, I'm pretty sure a translation is just a movement, so it really shouldn't change the shape, right? And if you're not changing the shape, then you won't change the size, correct. Then, if you haven't changed the size or shape, shouldn't you be able to turn it upside down, and it still be the same? I am not an expert, but that's my opinion.
