I would say the first option, -3/4(i) and 3/4(i) is correct...

Because 16x^2 + 9 = 0 therefore x^2 = -9/16 therefore x = sqr(-9/16) tf x = i(sqr(9/16)) tf x = -3/4(i) and 3/4(i)
