What effect would a lack of water have on the chlorophyll molecules in a chloroplast? The chlorophyll molecules would begin to collapse without enough water to support them. The chlorophyll molecules would make more molecules of ATP. The chlorophyll molecules would store light until there was more water available. The chlorophyll molecules would have fewer electrons to replace the ones they lost.
