Hmmm an example could be 1...then the first step would be to do 1 x 2 = 1 but the sum of them is 1 + 2 = 3.

so: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+10 = 55 so then 10 x 11 would be 110/2. and that gives you the same amount as when you add then all up.

because it can either mean the first 10 meaning 9 x 10 = 90/2 or the one after 10 which is 10 x 11 = 110/2...but i think it means A...i am sorry if i am wrong but this is a very confusing question....plays mind tricks lol.
