Can someone help me think of a way to start off my Educator of the Year essay?

When I first met Miss Will, I thought she was just going to be a regular teacher, a teacher who just sat around and handed out work, but she was the opposite of that. Miss Will is a Computer Solutions teacher, a good ear, and the most understanding person ever.

I would start it off with more of a generalized statement, like "Great teachers are difficult to find, yet when found they can be one of the most influential people in a student's life" or something of that sort!
