Theodore Roosevelt was an imperialist while Emilio Aguinaldo was Filipino politician and an independence leader that makes him an anti-imperialist.

as for what both shared views in common, i think they both valued the best for their own country. Theodore to expand american territories so his citizens live on wealthy land, and  Emilio wanted freedom for the Filipinos during the Philippines' revolution against Spain.
