The Normal Distribution Unit in (Honors/Pre-AP) Algebra 2 Question: Which measure of central tendency may have more than one value in a numeric data set? Median, Mean, Mode, or Midrange

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is mode.

OpenStudy (kropot72):

The mode in a numeric data set may have more than one value. If there are two modes, the distribution is said to be 'bimodal, three modes 'trimodal', etc.

Ok, so keeping the same choices. Answer this: Which measure of central tendency may not exist for all numeric data sets? @kropot72

OpenStudy (kropot72):

If the values in a data set are all different, there is no value that occurs most frequently. In that case the mode does not exist for such a data set.
