How can we find the limit of (-3x + 1) / sqrt (x^2 + x) as x approaches negative infinity?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know the reason why my way is weird to others, I was taught the easiest way to get the limit. However, whenever I state it out, the sentence I receive is "I don't know that way". My prof taught me that |dw:1384729395850:dw|
