If I am understanding the question correctly. You need the length from point A to point A'? In that case you can make a right triangle |dw:1384762374184:dw| And we can use the Pythagorean theorem to solve for the length. \[a^2+b^2=c^2 \rightarrow c=\sqrt{2^2+5^2}=\sqrt{29}\]
