given that 2xz^3-3yz^2+x^2y^2+4z=0,find del x/del z and del y/ del z, by using these method: (i) partial differentiation (ii) implicit differentiation i know how to do by implicit, can anyone teach me by partial differentiation??

hartnn (hartnn):

know what is partial differentaition ?

hartnn (hartnn):

to get del x/ del z we treat 'y' as constant

OpenStudy (anonymous):

del x/ del z right??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, but how to solve by using partial?? is it the question ask using only partial or use both??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

partial derevative... in not partial differentiation, i type the question wrongly

hartnn (hartnn):

you will need both the methods to find del x/ del z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that means i need to combine both method to solve??

hartnn (hartnn):

absolutely :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, i know how to solve ald, thx a lot, actually i'm confusing with the maths term.... anyway thx =)

hartnn (hartnn):
