A length of rope is stretched between the top edge of a building and a stake in the ground. The head of the stake is at ground level. The rope also touches the top of a tree between the stake and the building at a 53 degree angle.what angle is formed be the rope and the stake?

@Hero can u help me- I have heard ur pretty good at mathmatics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u guys help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is 48 degrees?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its the line going down the tree, but I'm not sure- thats just how the picture is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The picture is provided with the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the line is splitting the tree in half- it is a green line in the actual picture- thats the only difference- i dont really get it

OpenStudy (phi):

the building at a 53 degree angle conflicts with the picture's 48 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maybe it was a mistake- so what would it be if it said 53 degrees?

OpenStudy (phi):

my guess is this is the picture |dw:1384782682532:dw|
