ok i'm really bad at algebra and problem solving so can someone help me out please?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i assume you have to solve for N division undoes multiplication; so divide each side by sqrt(625)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes I do I forgot to add that. So I would divide 50^2 by 625 & 60^2 by 625?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

(\(50^2+60^2\)) is one number ... so yes, you would be dividing them both. Or you can think of this is the distribution property ...\[\frac{1}{a}(p+q)=\frac pa+\frac qa\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhh okay I get it now.. Thank you :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

good luck :)
