What is the slope of the line that passes through the points (−5,4) and (15,−4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok so do you know the formula for this ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not exactly and i cant use my notes...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The formula would be to find the slope witch is y2-y1/x2-x1 are you familiar with this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So then when you set it up it would be this 15+5/ -4-4 do you kinda know what to do now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok hold on bare with me math has never been my thing..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so would it be 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your answer would be m=−2/ 5 and ok lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and m is the slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at first yes 20 and then you simplify

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oohh ok thanks jason11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem :P
