This question is for marine biology! I have to do a lab that i think would be useful to remove oil from the ocean waters! I have no idea what to do.. does anyone have any suggestions? and maybe previous science to back it up? Thanks!

Hard to do. Oil floats (for practical purposes, not Deepwater Horizon purposes) so most oil spill clean up procedures I have heard of involve skimming it off the surface with a piece of string. I have also heard of sprinkling sawdust on it to make it clump before skimming it off. But honestly, not my area of expertise.

okay no all i have to do is conduct an experiment! I am going to try saw dust that seems really cool! Thank you!
