Which element is found in all of the following: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water, and orange juice? A) carbon B) hydrogen C) oxygen D) silicon

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Orange juice is a mixture of water and complex organic molecules that include Vitamin C, which itself is made of a variety of carbons, oxygens, and hydrogens. With that in mind, we can rule out a few things: Carbon is not found in water. Silicon is not found in any of these. Hydrogen is not found in carbon dioxide nor water. That leaves oxygen as the only possible answer.
