I'm guessing you mean WHY people text while driving and I believe it's because they simply think they can multi-task ( watching the road while tapping their fingers across a screen ) and in some cases, people can't. 

A small mistake like running a red light while another car is approaching, driving into another car, driving into the wrong lane by accident, all can cause serious car accidents.

well ...many people just to do "multi task" .....sometime they dont have time so they do two things at a time.....but however it can be dangerous ...they might kill them self or other people, which can be really bad..
