how do i solve 6n-3>-18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

subtreact 3 from both sides wich leaves you with 6n>-21 and then divide by 6 on both sides and you end up with n>-3.5

thank you so much!

You're welcome!!

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Actually @oboe @morganelizabeth you need to add 3 on both sides. 6n-3>-18 -> 6n-3+3>-18+3 -> 6n>-15 -> n>-15/6 -> n>-5/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops!! You would add 3 not subtract because 3 is neitive, he is right!
