Amy measured the length of an eraser. She discovered that her accuracy in her measurement was off by 0.005 centimeter. Which of the following could be the measured length of the eraser? 35.85 millimeters 35 millimeters 35.8 millimeters 358 millimeters

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Does it say the length that she measured...? if not, convert 0.005cm to millimeters (multiply by 10) and that should help find the answer...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would you multiply it...like .5 x 10

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The number isn't 0.5, it's 0.005.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know but how would you multiply by 10 it confuses me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I done that. It came out with 0.05 ?!

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

That's right, 0.05mm. Now only one of those four options has a 0.05 in it...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which one though? 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

d?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The one that has a 0.05 in it. D doesn't have a decimal at all
