OpenStudy (aem9296):

The earth rotates once in 24 hours about its axis. What is the rotational speed of the earth?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one rev = 2pi radians We need to find the rotational speed which is usually in the units of radians/second If it made one revolution( 2pi ) in 24 hours, how many revolutions does it make in seconds? Do you know how to do the conversions from hours to seconds?
